Return of the OOTD

Return of the OOTD

Hello all! I’m back!

Sorry I’ve been away so long, but *a lot* has happened in the past several weeks.

I finished my monstrosity of a thesis and passed my defense with flying colors! I graduated from Wellesley! I moved (sort of) back to Chicagoland, albeit I am still unpacked like 2 weeks later. I started an internship at an art auction house! I got a haircut!

That’s it.

Anyway.

It’s good to be back and writing this blog again, even if there are only like 7 of you left who actually read this (and I know you do it only because you love and humor me).

Regardless.

I’m making my big post-grad come back with a classic Outfit of the Day post! Yeah!

A week or so ago it was one of my aunts’ birthday, so the other aunts and my mom and I went out for a bite. We went to this super cute and hip little restaurant called A Toda Madre, that looked like it belonged in L.A. or Brooklyn and not in Glen Ellyn, Illinois.

Naturally, when I heard we were going to a tapas restaurant, I was super excited. I mean, who doesn’t like tapas? People who hate fun and tastiness, that’s who. I am not one of those people. I am fun. I like tasty food. I love tapas.

Moving on.

Notice how fun I am with my fun off the shoulder top standing in front of a fun window with words on it.

I tried to dress for the occasion and to match my love for tapas, naturally.

I’m sporting the Maura off the shoulder top from Brandy Melville with my new favorite jeans, my raw hem Levi’s cropped kick flares. My shoes are Nina, which I got at Lord and Taylor for Willow’s wedding. My belt is from Target, I believe. My little straw bag is vintage, from one of my favorite shops, Frocks and Frills, which I go to every time I’m back at home. My hand earrings, which have become one of my favorite things, are from Young Frankk. Lastly, though you might not be able to see it from the photos, I’m wearing some of my new eyeshadow is one of ColourPop's Super Shock Shadows in Drift.

Overall, it was a nice time! I got the most aesthetically pleasing strawberry margarita. The food was amazing. I left stuffed and content.

That’s it for now, but I promise I won’t be away for too long! I have two videos that I’m editing for you guys, and another one or two that I’m planning to shoot in the next few weeks! So stay on the lookout! And, of course, please feel free to leave a comment or question! Chat with me!
